PJ Conlon To Make MLB Debut Tomorrow

The New York Mets announced today that LHP P.J. Conlon will start in place of RHP Jacob deGrom in his Major League debut. Conlon has started five games in Triple-A Las Vegas with a 1-2 record and a 6.75 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 24 innings pitched. He has a lifetime 21-14 record in the minor leagues with a 2.68 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 266 strikeouts in 319 innings. Conlon was named the 2016 Organizational Pitcher he went 12-2 with a 1.65 ERA in 24 games with the Columbus Fireflies and the St. Lucie Mets.
