LHP David Peterson got off to a tough start in the bottom of the first with two walks, hit by pitch and a RBI single, but then came back to strike out the next three hitters he faced.
Peterson had two more strikeouts in the bottom of the second, but it fell apart for him in the bottom of the third after he gave up two walks and a three-run homer to CF Andy Pages.
Peterson had scoreless innings in the bottom of the fourth and fifth and was then taken out. His final line was 5.0 innings, five hits, four runs, four walks and seven strikeouts. Peterson's ERA is now up to 6.41.

RHP Joey Gerber and threw two scoreless innings in the bottom of the seventh and eighth.
The Met offense was lifeless once again managing only three singles by DH Jorge Polanco, 2B Marcus Semian and catcher Francisco Alvarez. All of those singles were immediately erased by double plays.
They have now gone 20 straight innings without scoring going back to Saturday's game.
The Mets next game is tomorrow night, Tuesday, April 14 at the Dodgers at 10:10 p.m.
