Mets Outfielder Brandon Nimmo (Credits to MetsMerizedOnline.com)

The New York Mets announced today that outfielder Brandon Nimmo has been placed on the 10-day IL due to a stiff neck. RHP Paul Sewald has been DFA'd and outfielder Rajaj Davis has been called up from Triple-A Syracuse as corresponding roster moves. Sewald had a 3.86 ERA in 7 innings this year. Davis has been with Syracuse since the beginning of the year and has been called up due to the injuries with Jeff McNeil, Michael Conforto and Nimmo. Davis hit .277 in Triple-A this year.
