Mets Activate Robinson Cano from 10-Day IL

The New York Mets activated Robinson Cano from the 10-day IL today after he missed the last nine games with a groin strain. Cano was hitting well prior to the injury with a .283 batting average. RHP Drew Smith was optioned to the alternative training site.
