New York Mets LHP David Peterson was placed on the injured list (IL) today with shoulder fatigue. Peterson was supposed to make his start tonight against the Miami Marlins, but has been replaced by RHP Corey Oswalt. Oswalt made one appearance on July 26th in relief allowing five runs against the Atlanta Braves.  He made 12 starts in 2018  with a 4.72 ERA and 17 walks and 39 strikeouts.  RHP Drew Smith has been recalled to the active roster. To make room for Smith on the roster, RHP Franklyn Kilome has been optioned back to the alternative training site.
