Mets RHP Paul Blackburn Goes on IL With Right Hand Contusion

New York Mets RHP Paul Blackburn has been placed on the 15-day injured list retroactive to August 24th with a right-hand contusion.

Blackburn was hit on the hand with a line drive during his start on Friday night and left the game in the third inning.

RHP Huascar Brazoban was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse as corresponding roster move,

RHP Tylor Megill will come up from Syracuse to replace Blackburn's spot in rotation later this week.
