The New York Mets announced today that they placed catcher Travis d'Arnaud on 10-day DL after it was revealed he has a partial UCL tear and recalled catching prospect Tomas Nido. D'Rrnaud was 3-15 this season before his injury. Nido is ranked as the # 9 prospect in the Mets minor league system. He is already on the 40-man roster and hit .232 in 404 plate appearances for Double-A Binghamton last year.
