Mets Place Kevin Plawecki on DL

The New York Mets announced today that they have placed catcher Kevin Plawecki on the 10-day disabled list after he suffered a left hand injury late in the game Wednesday night. Plawecki will not need surgery and hopes to be back in 2-3 weeks.
