The Met offense was held scoreless for the first three innings, but then came alive in the bottom of the fourth.
DH Starling Marte led off with a walk and stole second and RF Juan Soto followed with a hit by pitch.
1B Pete Alonso came up next and delivered a three-run homer.
After a scoreless bottom of the fourth, SS Francisco Lindor hit the game-winning go-ahead solo homer in the bottom of the fifth.
After scoreless innings in the bottom of the sixth and seventh, Soto came through with a solo homer in the bottom of the eighth after homering on Saturday.
RHP Clay Holmes started out well with two scoreless innings in the top of the first and second and then gave up a solo homer to 2B Orlando Arcia in the top of the third.
Holmes had a scoreless top of the fourth and then gave up a two-run homer to RF Tyler Freeman in the top of the fifth.
Holmes finished up strong with scoreless innings in the top of the sixth and seventh and was taken out after the seventh.
His final line was seven innings, three hits, 0 walks and three strikeouts.
He picked up his 6th win and now allowed three runs or fewer in 10 of his 12 starts.
RHP Reed Garrett followed a scoreless top of the eighth.
RHP Edwin Diaz closed it out with a scoreless top of the ninth with three strikeouts to pick up his 13th save.
The Mets next game is tomorrow night, Monday, June 2 at the Los Angeles Dodgers at 10:10 p.m.
