Mets Claim Tommy Millone Off Waivers
The New York Mets claimed LHP Tommy Millone off waivers earlier today in order to add some more pitching depth. Millone went 1-0 with a 6.43 ERA in 6 games (3 starts) for the Milwaukee Brewers this year. He had previously pitched for the Washington Nationals, Oakland Athletics and Minnesota Twins before joining the Brewers this year. In his career, Millone has posted a record of 45-33 with an ERA of 4.21 and 6.5 K/9 innings. Hopefully he can be an adequate 5th starter for the Mets and serve as a better option then RHP Rafael Montero or LHP Adam Wilk,
