Mets vs. Brewers Game 35 Recap

The New York Mets lost to the Milwaukee Brewers 11-4 for their third consecutive loss and dropped their record to 16-19. RHP Robert Gsellman got the start and had another rough outing. Gsellman was only able to last four innings and allowed six runs on nine hits. He gave up three walks and had three strikeouts. RHP Hansel Robles came in next with the based loaded and allowed four inherited runs to score. He also gave up four runs of his own. RHP Paul Sewald allowed one run on three hits in two innings. Sewald had three strikeouts. RHP Rafael Montero pitched a scoreless bottom of the eighth inning.

Catcher Kevin Plawecki got the Mets offense started with a 2 run double in the top of the second inning. RHP Robert Gsellman hit a RBI groundout in the top of the second. 2B Neil Walker hit a solo homer in the top of the fourth inning, which was his second homer of the series.

Injury News:
Shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera left the game early with a thumb injury.
