The New York Mets announced today that they have activated J.D. Davis from the 60-Day injured list and designated Billy McKinney for assignment.
Davis was hitting .390 in 14 games this year before going on the IL wih a left hand sprain. He had seven extra base hits in 10 games during his rehab assignment with the Triple-A Syracuse Mets.
McKinney hit .222 with five homers in 39 games for the Mets this year.
