Jose Peraza Goes on Injured List

Mets infielder Jose Peraza (Photo Credits to Mary Holt-USA Today Sports) The New York Mets announced prior to tonight's game that infielder Jose Peraza has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a fractured right middle finger. Peraza has done a fine job off the bench this year with six homers including four doubles, a homer and four RBI late and close situations. RHP Geoff Hartlief was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse as corresponding roster move. Hartlief was claimed off waivers from the Pittsburgh Pirates prior to the doubleheader last week. He had a 7.71 ERA with four runs and five walks im 7.2 innings for the Pirates this year.
