Mets Acquire Javier Baez and Trevor Williams

Mets SS Javier Baez (Photo Credits to Charles LeClaire-USA Today Sports) The New York Mets acquired SS Javier Baez and RHP Trevor Williams from the Chicago Cubs for #5 ranked center field prospect Pete-Crow Armstrong who is out for the year after he had shoulder surgery. Baez is hitting .248 with 22 homers and 13 stolen bases this year and a free agent after this year. He is a two-time All-Star and a former NLCS MVP, Gold Glove Winner, Silver Slugger Award Winner and NL RBI Leader. Williams is 4-2 with a 5.06 ERA this year.
