Carlos Carrasco To Miss 3-4 Weeks With Oblique Strain

The New York Mets announced today that starting pitcher RHP Carlos Carrasco will be out three-to-four weeks with a low-grade oblique strain.

Carrasco left the field last night holding his left side after he finished the second inning before a 55-minute rain delay at the Atlanta Braves.

LHP David Peterson will most likely be called up to replace Carrasco as well as Trevor Williams possibly be moved to rotation.

Hopefully Carrasco will be back in September in the last weeks of the regular season to get healthy for the postseason.
