There's no timetable on DeGrom's return and is expected to be shut down from throwing for four weeks before being reassessed. Without DeGrom this is a crushing blow to the Mets starting rotation and they will need other pitchers like Chris Bassitt, Carlos Carrasco and Taijuan Walker to pitch well in his absence.
