Taijuan Walker Leaves Game Early With Shoulder Injury

Mets RHP Taijuan Walker (Photo Credits to Reinheld Matay-USA Today Sports) New York Mets RHP Taijuan Walker left tonight's game in Philadelphia after two innings with shoulder irritation. Walker cruised through the first two innings and then headed down the dugout tunnel. He had a knee injury during spring training and had had arm trouble previously in 2018 which led him to have Tommy John Surgery. Walker's injury leaves the Mets with even less depth in the starting rotation after Jacob deGrom also went on the injured list with a shoulder injury.
