The New York Mets announced after the first game of their doubleheader against the Washington Nationals that outfielder Brandon Nimmo was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain.
Nimmo left the game early with hamstring tightness after he pulled up during a run going from second to third.
Infielder Travis Blakenhorn was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse as corresponding roster move.
