Mets Claim LHP Brad Hand

The New York Mets claimed LHP Brad Hand after he was recently desiginated for assignment by the Toronto Blue Jays. RHP Geoff Harlieb was desiginated for assignment as corresponding roster move. Hand had a 4.21 ERA and 8.2 K/9 in 51 innings this year with the Washington Nationals and Blue Jays. Hand was previously a three-time All-Star between 2016-2020 with the Cleveland Indians and had a 2.70 ERA.
