Quirky Stats about the Mets season so far.

On May 27th, 2014, the Mets sit at 22-28. April saw the team go 15-11. May has seen the team go 7-16. Despite the Mets roller coaster start to the 2014 season, Mets Insider has come out with a list of strange facts surrounding the ball club:

1. The Las Vegas 51s are the best team in all of minor league baseball.
2. David Wright is second in the NL for hits despite his struggles.
3. Murphy is on pace to steal 30+ bases this year
4. deGrom is batting .800 and has more hits than Satin did in 28 ABs
5. C. Young and Lagares have yet to make an error in the outfield. 
6. Gee is in the top 15 for WHIP in the NL (1.06)

How much stock should we put into these facts? None. the truth is the team's offense is dreadful, their bullpen is dreadful, the their starting pitching has come back down to earth. Baseball is not about individual effort, it's a team effort.
