What's Next: Subway Series

Tonight in the Bronx, the Mets take on their cross town rival Yankees in a two game set. Following their two games at Yankee Stadium, the two will play two more in Flushing at Citi Field.

Bartolo Colon (2-5, 5.36 ERA) will toe the rubber for the Mets opposed by Hiroki Kuroda (2-3, 4.43 ERA) for the Yankees.

Last season, the Mets swept the four game set from the Yankees in dominating fashion.

The Mets are coming off a tough stretch where they have lost seven of nine, and three straight series. Yesterday, the Mets gained some momentum with a thrilling come from behind win over the Phillies in 11 innings. The Mets are 17-19.

The Yankees, who had been playing better baseball, lost two of three to the Brewers in Milwaukee. Pitching injuries continue to mount for the Bombers as they lost C.C. Sabathia to a knee injury. Sabathia joins an injured list including Michael Pineda and Ivan Nova. The Yankees are 19-17.
