Weekly Fantasy Update

This week I will highlight three more players that could very well help you to a Fantasy Baseball win this week. I will talk about some players that should be free agents in 90% of  ESPN leagues for those of you in very deep leagues looking for good players.

A.J. Pollock: This guy is on fire right now, and what really stands out about his play is that he is very well-rounded. His overall season average stands at .302, he has hit 5 HRs and stolen 6 bases. this shows that he can get points in a variety of ways and with the Diamondbacks offense heating up, he should have plenty of opportunities to drive in and score runs. In his last 7 games he is hitting .500 with 2 HRs and totaling 56 points.

David Murphy: Murphy is a solid hitter who won't fill the stat sheet but quietly will produce in a consistent manner. In his last 7 games Murphy has 1 HR but is batting almost .500 with a SB. He has also stolen a base and delivers plenty of doubles. His best quality may be the lack of strikeouts which will not lose him points. He will always produce positive points.

Edwin Jackson: Jackson was excellent in his last start, striking out 11 over 7 scoreless innings against the hot hitting Brewers. He can rack up the punch outs totaling 49 in 51 innings.  He gets a very favorable matchup against the Padres in pitchers haven PETCO Park. The Padres struggle to score runs and cruising through the lineup should not be much of a problem. Jackson is only owned in .9% of ESPN leagues so he should be available to add and I project a dominant start.
