Mets vs. Yankees Game 106 Recap

The New York Mets defeated the New York Yankees 7-1 tonight to snap their one game losing streak and improve their record to 55-51. The Mets offense exploded for 7 runs. CF Aledandro De Aza kept his hot bat going with a 2 run homer. Catcher Travis d'Arnaud hit a solo homer.  LF Michael Conforto hit an RBI double. SS Matt Reynolds hit an RBI single. CF Yoenis Cespedes hit a pinch hit single. 2B Neil Walker hit an RBI double.

RHP Jacob deGrom was dominant with 7 shutout innings. He allowed only 4 hits and 1 walk. He had 8 k's. He picked up his seventh win of the season. LHP Jon Niese came in next and allowed one run in two innings. He had one walk and two strikeouts.
