The New York Mets beat the San Francisco Giants 4-3 this afternoon at Citi Field to snap their five-game losing streak and improved their record to 22-30.

After a scoreless bottom of the first, CF Harrison Bader drove in the first Met run of the game with a RBI single.

Later in the game, in the top of the sixth, Bader made a spectacular leaping catch to rob 3B Matt Chapman of a solo homer.

The Met offense did not do much after the bottom of the first, but finally came alive in the bottom of the ninth.

LF Brandon Nimmo led off with an infield hit and then DH J.D. Martinez followed with a single.

Two batters later, 2B Jeff McNeil was hit by a pitch to load the bases and then Bader came through once again with a game-tying two-run double.

3B Brett Baty followed with an intentional walk and then catcher Omar Narvaez delivered a walk-off single.

LHP Sean Manaea had a solid outing allowing two runs on five hits in five innings.

He gave up one walk with six strikeouts.

RHP Adrian Houser followed and did a fine job out of the bullpen allowing one run on two hits in five innings.

He gave up one walk with two strikeouts and picked up his first win.

The Mets next game is tomorrow afternoon, Monday May 27 back at home at Citi Field against the Los Angeles Dodgers at 4:10 p.m.
