Starling Marte Goes On Il With Fractured Finger

The New York Mets announced prior to today's game that RF Starling Marte has been placed on the injured list with a fractured right middle finger.

Marte was hit by a pitch and has been dealing with a displaced fracture on the finger he was hit on.

His IL stint began last Tuesday, so he will able to return  in exactly one week.

The Mets called up prospect Mark Vientos after putting Marte on the IL.
