Pete Alonso and Starling Marte Leave Game With Injuries

New York Mets 1B Pete Alonso left tonight's game at the San Diego Padres after he was hit on the hand by RHP Yu Darvish.

Fortunately Alonso was able to avoid broken bones in his hands and X-Rays were negative.

New York Mets RF Starling Marte left the game after he over slid trying to steal second base in the top of the first and came up limping.

Marte was diagnosed with left quad tightness.
