The New York Mets lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers 2-0 tonight at Dodger Stadium to snap their six-game winning streak and dropped their record to 35-18.

RHP Taijuan Walker started out well with four scoreless innings, but ran into trouble in the bottom of the fifth after he gave up one-out singles to LF Chris Taylor and 2B Gavin Lux and then a RBI single to CF Mookie Betts.

Walker's struggles continued in the bottom of the sixth after he gave up a lead-off double to SS Trea Turner and three batters later, a RBI double to 3B Justin Turner and was then taken out.

His final line was 5.2 innings, 7 hits, 2 runs, 1 walk and 2 strikeouts.

RHP Colin Holdermn came in next and threw 1.1 scoreless innings.

LHP Chasen Shreve threw a scoreless bottom of the eighth.

The offense was not able to get much going against RHP Tony Gonsolin and the bullpen.

They managed only three hits and were 0-2 with runners in scoring position and left four runners on base.

The Mets next game is tomorrow night, Friday June 3rd at the Dodgers at 10:10 p.m.
