Carlos Carrasco Leaves Game With Back Tightness

New York Mets RHP Carlos Carrasco left today's start with lower back tightness after 2 1/3 innings.

Carrasco had a difficult outing allowing five runs on four hits, two walks a hit by pitch as well as three home runs.

His velocity decreased as his start progressed and he threw his last pitch at 89 mph.

Hopefully Carrasco will not have to go on the injured list (IL) since the starting rotation is already depleted without Jacob deGrom, Max Scherzer and Tylor Megill due to injury and they can't afford to lose another pitcher.
