The New York Mets announced prior to tonight's game at the Los Angeles Angels that RHP Colin Holderman was placed on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder impingement.
Holderman started out well in his rookie season not allowing a run in his first six appearances.
He struggled in his last outing with three runs in 1/3 of an inning.
RHP Jake Reed was called up as corresponding roster move.
