Mets Infielder Luis Guillorme (Credits to MetsMerizedOnline.com) The New York Mets announced today that they have placed outfielder Michael Conforto on the injured list and recalled infielder Luis Guillorme. Conforto was having an outstanding year hitting .322 with 12 doubles, 9 home runs, and 31 RBI' before he start to deal with a tight hamstring. Guillorme returned to the team after he was optioned last week to the alternative training site. Ht hit .347 in 26 games while he played shortstop, second base and third base.
