New York Mets RHP Zack Wheeler has been placed on the 10-day injured list with right shoulder fatigue. Wheeler was given an extra start before the All-Star break to give another audition to contending teams before trading deadline and had a difficult outing allowing six runs against the Phillies. LHP Steven Matz will be taking Wheeler's place in the rotation on Tuesday. It is not a serious injury and Wheeler has been dealing with fatigue for some time now and is being put on the IL for precautionary reasons.
