RHP Nolan McLean dominated the first three innings and then ran into trouble in the top of the fourth.
McLean gave up back-to-back singles to start the top of the fourth and then gave up a walk to load the bases.
McLean then gave up a RBI single to 1B Troy Johnston.
McLean had a scoreless top of the fifth and was taken out with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth.
RHP Huascar Brazoban came in next and gave up an inherited run charged to McLean after he got Johnston to ground into a double play.
Brazoban gave up a RBI single to CF Jake McCarthy in the top of the seventh.
RHP Austin Warren followed with two scoreless innings in the top of the eighth and ninth.
The Mets offense did not do much outside of a solo homer by RF Tyrone Taylor in the bottom of the fifth.
They went 1-5 with runners in scoring position leaving six runners on base.
