Steven Matz Has No Ligament Damage In Left Elbow
According to Marc Craig from Newsday, Mets LHP Steven Matz has no ligament damage in his left elbow. Matz had been feeling some tightness in his left forearm and elbow since his last start. He did some long tossing over the weekend and he said he felt fine. Most likely, he will starting against the Nationals on Thursday night which would move either RHP Matt Harvey or RHP Bartolo Colon out of their scheduled start. More information will be announced tomorrow.
