They are now only a 1/2 game out of first place in the National League East. RF Curtis Granderson and LF Michael Conforto accounted for the only runs of the game with 2 solo homers. RHP Noah Syndergaard was dominant in seven shutout innings. He gave up only 5 hits and no walks. He had 10 strikeouts. He picked up his 4th win of the season. RHP Addison Reed pitched a scoreless 8th. RHP Jeurys Familia pitched a scoreless 9th and picked up his 13th save.
