Mets vs. Braves Game 24 Recap

The New York Mets defeated the Atlanta Braves tonight 4-1 to snap their one game losing streak. Mets starter RHP Bartolo Colon was outstanding pitching 8 shutout innings. He gave up 7 hits and no walks. He had 7 strikeouts. He was in control the whole night and kept the Braves hitters off balanced. He knows how to paint the corners and keep the hitters off balanced. He picked up his 2nd win of the season. He has now passed Pedro Martinez in wins by a Dominican-born pitcher with 220. RHP Jeurys Familia gave up a run in the 9th. The Mets offense got off to a fast start, scoring 4 runs in the first. 3B David Wright hit a homer. CF Yoenis Cespedes and 1B Lucas Duda hit back to back homers. Hopefully the Mets can  continue have a pitching performance and hit for power
