Mets vs. Padres Game 27 Recap

Last night, the New York Mets lost to the San Diego Padres 5-3. Their record is now 17-10. Mets starter Jacob deGrom struggled all night  and took the loss giving up 3 runs on 8 hits and 1 walk. He only went 5 innings. He had only 2 strikeouts. RHP Logan Verrett came in after deGrom was taken out and gave up 2 runs. RF Curtis Granderson got the Mets on the board in the 9th homer with a solo homer. CF Yoenis Cespedes added a 2 run homer in the 9th.
