The New York Mets lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers last night 3-2 to drop their record to 20-12. RHP Hansel Robles gave up a run in the 8th inning and took the loss. Mets starter RHP Jacob deGrom gave up 2 runs in 7 innings. He gave up 8 hits and no walks. He had 4 strikeouts. The Mets offense struggled all night and had only 5 hits. The only runs the Mets scored was due to LF Michael Conforto reaching on an error and an RBI single by catcher Kevin Plawecki.
