Mets vs. Brewers Game 42 Recap

The New York Mets defeated the Milwaukee Brewers today in a thrilling 5-4 win. 3B David Wright got the game-winning hit in the 9th. This is Wright's first walk-off hit since 2012. This is a huge stepping stone for him. He needed to have a hit like this for his confidence after his rough last few of weeks. Hopefully this helps to get him going again. In addition to Wright's game winning hit, the Mets offense got homers from Yoenis Cespedes and Curtis Granderson. SS Asdrurbal Cabrera added an RBI single. RHP Jacob deGrom gave up 4 runs in 5 innings. RHP Hansel Robles pitched 2 scoreless innings. RHP Addison Reed pitched a scoreless 8th. RHP Jeurys Familia pitched a scoreless 9th and picked up his first win of the season.
