Infielder Matt Reynolds To Get Promoted From Triple-A

Infielder Matt Reynolds is expected to be promoted from Triple-A in Las Vegas for the Mets series opener against the Nationals on Tuesday. Reynolds was hitting .238 in Vegas with 2 homers and 10 RBI's in 130 at-bats. He is on the 40 man roster which gives him an edge over other players such as Ty Kelly and TJ Rivera in Triple A. He has yet to appear in a ML game, even though he was on the roster for the NLDS and NLCS. The corresponding roster for Reynolds has been announced. It might be between LHP Sean Gilmartin or RHP Logan Verrett.
