Mets vs. Dodgers Game 33 Recap

Last night, the New York Mets defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-3 to improve their record to 21-12. Mets starter RHP Noah Syndergarrd was the offensive star of the game hitting 2 homers and  picking up 4 RBI's. This is Syndergarrd's second and third career homers. He became the second Mets pitcher to hit two homers in a game joining Walt Terrell. In addition to his monster day at the plate, he also pitched 8 outstanding innings. He gave up only 2 runs on 6 hits and 1 walk.  He had 6 strikeouts. He picked up his third win. RHP Jeurys Familia gave up a run in the 9th, but picked up his 12th save,
