The New York Mets defeated the Cincinnati Reds 5-3 to improve their record to 11-7. LF Michael Conforto had another outstanding night at the plate going for 3 for 3 with a walk and 3 runs scored. He hit a homer in the first inning to give the Mets a 1-0 lead. 1B  Lucas Duda hit a 2 run homer. 2B Neil Walker hit a game-winning 2 run homer in the 8th. RHP Noah Syndergarrd gave up 3 runs in 6 2/3 innings. He gave up 7 hits and no walks. He had 9 strikeouts. He picked up a no-decision. RHP Logan Verrett got the last out in the 7th and picked up his first win. RHP Addison Reed pitched a scoreless 8th. RHP Jeurys Familia pitched a scoreless 9th and picked up his 6th save of the season.
