Game 7: Mets vs. Marlins recap

The New York Mets lost to the Florida Marlins again tonight by a score of 2-1. Noah Syndergarrd had an outstanding outing with 12 strikeouts and only one walk in 7 innings. He gave up just one run but had to pick up the no-decision due to the lack of run support. Jim Henderson gave up a run in the 8th and took the loss. The only run the Mets were able to score was on a RBI single by Lucas Duda. Hopefully the Mets offense starts to wake up. So far, they haven't hit up to preseason expectations.

  1. Life is a dream for the wise, a game for the fool, a comedy for the rich, a tragedy for the poor.
