Last night, the New York Mets defeated the Atlanta Braves 6-3 to improve their record to 8-7. Curtis Granderson let the Mets offense with 2 homers and 5 RBI's. Yoenis Cespedes added an RBI double. Matt Harvey gave up 2 runs in 5 innings. He picked up his first win. Antonio Bastardo and Jim Henderson combined to finish the 7th. Bastardo gave up a run. Addison Reed pitched a scoreless 8th. Jeurys Familia pitched a scoreless 9th and picked up his fourth save.
