Mets vs. Reds Game 20 Recap
The New York Mets defeated the Cincinnati Reds tonight 5-2 to sweep their 3 games and improve their record to 13-7. 1b Lucas Duda reached on an error which brought home the first run of the game. 2B Neil Walker continued his torrid start with 2 RBI's by a homer and single. He has now tied the Mets record for most homers in April with 9. LF Michael Conforto added a 2 run double. The Mets got a strong starter from RHP Matt Harvey. He gave up only 2 runs in 6 innings while giving up 7 hits and only one walk. He had 7 strikeouts. He picked up his 2nd win of the season. RHP Jim Henderson pitched a scoreless 7th. RHP Hansel Robles pitched a scoreless 8th. RHP Addison Reed pitched a scoreless 9th and picked up his first save of the season.
