Mets vs Indians Game 10 Recap

The New York Mets lost to the Cleveland Indians 7-5 to drop their record to 4-6. Mets starter RHP Matt Harvey struggled once again and gave up 5 runs and didn't make it out of the sixth starter. His record is now 0-3 to start the season. Harvey was cruising early on and retired the 12 batters he faced, before it all unraveled in the 5th inning. Rafael Montero came in after Harvey was taken out and gave up 2 runs. The Mets offense continued their power surge today with 3 more homeruns. Curtis Granderson led of the game with a homer. Yoenis Cespedes hit a 3 run homer in the 8th. Neil Walker added a homer in the 8th. It's a tough loss for the Mets, but the bigger issue is Matt Harvey. He hasn't looked like himself going back to Spring Training. His velocity isn't where is usually is, and is only topping out at 93 mph. Hopefully Harvey rights the ship and gets back to being the pitcher we saw last year and in 2013. The Mets need Harvey to be an ace in order to get to the World Series.
