Mets vs. Marlins Game 6 Recap

The New York Mets lost to the Florida Marlins tonight 10-3 to drop their record to 2-4. Mets starter LHP Steven Matz had the worst outing of his young career with giving up 7 runs in 1 1/3 innings. He was unable to make it out of the 2nd inning.  RHP Hansel Robels came in after Matz and gave up one run . LHP Antonio Bastardo gave up 2 runs. The Mets offense struggled once again outside of a Yoenis Cespedes RBI single. The only other 2 runs the Mets were able to score was on a wild pitch by Marlins starter Zack Cosart. Hopefully the Mets offense starts to hit again soon. They need Curtis Granderson and others to get going in order for the Mets to get back on track.
