The New York Mets drafted SS Jett Williams out of Rockland-Heath High School in Rockland, Texas with the 14th overall pick in the first round of the MLB Draft.
Williams is ranked as the #15 draft prospect by Baseball America.
He is 5'8 and a plus runner and one of the best high school hitters in Texas and across the nation.
