The New York Mets are calling up right-handed pitcher Jerad Eickhoff from Triple-A Syracuse due to all of the games and doubleheaders coming up.
Outfielder Mason Williams was desiginated for assignment as corresponding roster move.
Eickhoff has started in eight games in Triple-A with a 5.32 ERA in 44 innings.
Williams played in 17 games for the Mets with a .631 OPS.
