Mets Recall Michael Conforto and Send Down Brandon Nimmo

The New York Mets have recalled outfielder Michael Conforto from Triple-A Las Vegas and sent outfielder Brandon Nimmo down to Triple-A. Conforto hit .344 with 4 doubles, two triples, three home runs, and 15 RBI's with an OPS of 1,043 in 16 games for Las Vegas. Nimmo batted .223 for the Mets with one homer and 4 RBI's. Hopefully Conforto will return to the big leagues as a much improved hitter. If he can regain the success he had last season and in April, he will be able to provide a huge boost to the Mets lineup.
