Mets Trade Curtis Granderson to Dodgers

The New York Mets have traded OF Curtis Granderson to the Los Angeles Dodgers. In addition to trading Granderson to the Dodgers, the Mets will be giving the Dodgers cash and will be receiving cash or a player to be named later in return. He played 573 games for the Mets he hit .239 with 95 home runs, 106 doubles, 12 triples, and 27 stolen bases. Granderson has played in 150 or more games in each of the last three years. He has become a very popular player here in New York for his exceptional play on the field and his positive attitude and work in the community off the field and won the Roberto Clemente Award last year. I wish Granderson all the best with Dodgers and I would love to see earn a World Series ring. He was a wonderful Met for the last four year who gave everything he had each and every day. I loved his attitude and how he was always engaging with the fans and media. I will miss Grandy, but he sure gave me so many amazing memories to look back on and remember fondly.
